NCD Police Operations Centre have released a list of the 18 escapees who dashed for their freedom in yesterdays mass jail break out at the Bomana Correctional Service facilities.
Escapee Saku Dove, who is serving a life sentence for murder was the only inmate recaptured at Sabusa in the Central Province late yesterday after police mounted an operation hours after the reported breakout.
17 of the escapees are still on the run as police and Correction Service officers continue their joint operations.
Police have urge the public to report any information on the whereabouts of the following escapees listed to the police for the general safety of the public.
The escapees pose a greater threat to the public and so they cannot be tolerated in our communities.

14. Lakai Numai [Remand]
15. Emex Goasa [Death Convict]
16. Charlton Eric [Convict]
17. Russell Tom [Life Convict]
18. Saku Dove [Life Convict] – {apprehended by Drone Team yesterday}
The general public are advised that you are to report to the Police Operations Centre Hotline 1800100 or relay information through NCD Police Crime Alert Group and the Police NCD/Central Command Page on Facebook. Your identity will be protected at all times.
Police have issued a warning that anyone found to be knowingly harbouring anyone of the above escapees will face prosecution for aiding an escapee.
