This just in, PNG HAS recorded its first case of the Delta variant of COVID-19.
A 60 year old man from the Philippines has been confirmed with the delta variant this morning in Port Moresby and he is now in isolation at the Pacific International Hospital.
The man is a captain of a cargo ship that left Philippines last month.
