The Hiri Hahenamo, a major festival highlight, will feature up to ten young women from Motu-Koita villages competing for the coveted ‘Miss Hahenamo’ title.
The reigning Miss Hahenamo, 22-year-old Kimjosh Damuri of Tubuserea village, reflected on her experience, highlighting the opportunity to showcase her culture and embrace new challenges.
She encouraged future contestants to seize the opportunity to showcase their heritage, emphasizing the invaluable experiences it provides.
