From Friday 26th March, all passengers travelling from Port Moresby to Singapore, Hong Kong and Manila will be required to provide evidence of a negative COVID Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test at time of check-in. This is already a requirement for all flights to Australia. Passengers who do not produce evidence of a negative test will not be able to board their flight. A total of 90 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country on Saturday March 13, bringing the national total of confirmed cases to 2,173 with the death toll remaining at 21.
