The much-publicised book sold 467,183 copies in its first week, according to official figures from Nielsen BookData. China’s population has fallen for the first time in 60 years, with the national birth rate hitting a record low – 6.77 births per 1,000 people. The betel nut market at Gerehu stage 2 in Port Moresby was closed down by police to ease tensions, following Monday’s nasty clash involving betel nut vendors. A Chimbu man was reportedly attacked allegedly by the same group of men who attacked two men from Tari earlier during the day. The injured pair are currently nursing their wounds in the hospital.
