A bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced a handful of antitrust measures on Friday, including one designed to potentially break up large tech companies operating businesses with conflicts of interest. Papua New Guinea has recorded 40 new COVID-19 cases this week, increasing the country’s total cases to 16,661. The cases were reported in 10 provinces with the National Capital District reporting the highest of 10 cases followed by both West New Britain and Western Highlands with seven cases each. Enga province reported five cases, East New Britain four, Western and Morobe two cases each whilst New Ireland, Madang and Jiwaka reported a single case each. The building of the Kavieng Multi use sporting stadium is progressing well. All interior walling and glass windows are completed with work on the sitting area now under way. It will have a seating capacity of 4000 people, VIP Box, lockers and change rooms for Athletes.
