Teenagers who have close, secure relationships with their families are more likely to extend empathy to their peers, according to a new study. The government has announced that it will provide a monthly data top-up of $20 per month to domestic university students and Year 13 students to assist them in their online studies. It will partner with Amalgamated Telecom Holdings for this initiative. Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says due to the pandemic, the 25,983 domestic students across three universities in Fiji are currently attending classes and having examinations on online platforms.
