The annual Senior Education Officers’ Conference for 2021 was officially opened by Justice Dr. Vergil Narokobi on behalf of the Chief Justice Sir Gibbs Salika at the town oval this morning (Monday, Aug 30). NCD police have warned that there is a new trend used by armed criminals in committing crime in the city lately with the use of taxi cabs. NCD Metropolitan Superintendent Gideon Ikumu sounded the warning after an armed robbery incident yesterday at a fast-food outlet where the criminals made off in a taxi cab.
