While responding to an emergency in Lae in the early morning hours on Tuesday 27th, an ambulance from St John Ambulance PNG was targeted in a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 1am near the Bumayong Kaisa bus stop while the ambulance crew were transporting a woman in labour to Angau Memorial General Hospital.
