Goroka Syntax Secondary School in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province has been de-registered after investigations by officials from the National Department of Education, Provincial Division of Education and the Police found irregularities by the school in the 2023 National Examinations. Dion Aiye, 35, the captain of Whitehaven Rugby League, kicked his former girlfriend in the stomach and held her by the throat, leaving her in fear for her life.
