Six schools in the nation’s capital Port Moresby were privileged to have received computer laboratories built as part of the Digicel Foundations BeLit Program which aims to provide an avenue for computer literacy in schools. In what was quite a constructive and concise consultation of the draft National Media Policy, the Papua New Guinea Media Council have made their stance clear that members are not endorsing this draft policy in its current form, based on grounds of infringement of the expression of speech among others. After the manhunt of the suspects involved in the alleged carjacking was pulled off Tuesday evening in Kimbe, two suspects were apprehended by West New Britain police and are now confined to the police station and undergoing questioning.
