44 candidates have so far nominated to contest the open seat of Salt-Nomane Karamui district in Simbu Province. Amongst the nominated candidates is the current MP Mr Geoffrey Kama, who nominated last week Thursday at the Egga Nomination Centre. Returning Officer Mr Andrew Awi has confirmed this figure and stated also that amongst these 44 candidates only one female is running this race, Ms. Bomai Gii Wei.
