Brand new vehicles owned by PNG motors and Niu Ford were damaged by a catastrophic fire over the weekend Sunday, September 1st, 2024, around midday. The blaze, which started in an adjacent vacant allotment around noon, quickly engulfed the facility, causing extensive destruction and significant financial loss. A 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck the Southern part of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville this morning around 6:13am.
