His Holiness, Pope Francis, arrived at Sir John Guise Stadium in Port Moresby to begin the main event, Eucharistic Mass. He arrived at 7.40AM, beginning with a lap around the stadium in his popemobile to visit all faithful gathered to share this mass with him. The mass started as early as scheduled, between 8AM and 8.15AM. The mass is currently on at the stadium, with thousands gathered to witness and be part of this significant celebration. His Holiness will depart Port Moresby for Vanimo in West Sepik Province at 1PM as scheduled.
