Queenpads PNG conducted a 2-day awareness program recently in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province. The purpose of the awareness was to educate girls and women as well as males on the topic of menstrual health and hygiene. The UPNG West New Britain Student’s Association are currently raising funds for their end of year project- A Book Drive. This is to support rural schools back in the province who do not have enough resources to learn. UNICEF is set to launch a 34-episode Radio Drama Series tonight titled, “Changing the headlines” at the Hilton Hotel in Port Moresby. The Radio Drama will be broadcasted by NBC as part of a communication campaign to promote social and behavioral change.
