14 Senior Police officers who attended a two-day workshop this week on Human Rights at the Centre of Excellence (COE), Bomana outside of Port Moresby are now better equipped with the knowledge and skills they will require to handle human rights issues in their line of duty as law enforcing officers. The two-day workshop was hosted by The International Committee of Red Cross which mainly targeted Senior Police Officers in the Royal PNG Police Constabulary. A disallowed try in the final minutes by the Gurias due to a forward pass, has set the tigers to take on the win, 20-16. Tanaka Primary School in East New Britain, yesterday, officially opened a 4 in 1 double classroom, including an ablution block and a school canteen. Head Teacher, Mr. Kuki Sero, said the project was given to the school in 2018. “This project which values at K500,000, was funded by the former member of the Gazelle District Honorable, Malakai Taba,” he said.
