Prime Minister James Marape has praised the increase in funding for the Higher Education Loan Programme (HELP) in the 2025 National Budget, which has risen from K52 million in 2024 to K53.08 million for 2025. Five of the seven armed men who robbed three expatriates near the ExxonMobil Headquarters at Seven Mile on Saturday 30th November, have been caught by 6 Mile police officers. The robbery happened around 11:05 am when the expatriates were stopped by seven men armed with homemade guns.
