A total of 15, 900 grade eight students completed their 2022 National Examinations in Morobe Province. The students sat for English paper one on Monday, mathematics on Tuesday, combined Subject on Wednesday and successfully completed English paper two today. The Fogi Village congregation in Wain Erap LLG in Nawaeb District, Morobe on Sunday celebrated the opening of a new church building worth K29, 000 which they fully funded and built. The village situated in ward six has a population of over 200 people who are members of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea. Banis Discharged Rehabilitation Services (BDRS), a Non Government Organisation helps prisoners who are released from Buimo Correctional Service to become useful assets in their communities. Morobe Governor Luther Wenge has announced a plan to build a new University in Morobe Province. Community leaders in Wain Erap Local Level Government area in Nawaeb District, Morobe are concerned on the rising trade and consumption of marijuana in the area. Ward six Councilors Mandina Bum said most of the dealers and consumers were school leavers. The Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) class streamlined in the National School of Excellence throughout the country is part of the education restructure system.
