The people of Papua New Guinea (PNG) will soon have access to the much-needed cancer service at the Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) with Phase (III) of the project already underway. OTDF announced recently the addition of two new cadets to the Maritime Cadet Program to undergo sea time training, strengthening the commitment to safety, education, and skill development in partnership with P&O Maritime Logistics (P&O ML). The phase two of the upgrading and sealing of the Kiunga-Tabubil Highway and the rehabilitation and sealing of the Daru Town roads will now commence after Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) signed two project agreements recently. The Member for Vanimo- Green, Belden Namah, has blamed the Treasurer for killing the logging industry by increasing the Log Export Tax over 50%, which was included in the 2023 National Budget passed last year.
