Boxing fans were left stunned but not surprised during the “Judgement Day” event with Anthony Joshua knocking out Jake Paul.

YouTuber-turned-Boxing Underdog, Jake Paul, was downed with a devastating right hand by the former Heavyweight Champion during their heavyweight bout.

Fans and viewers of the match called it underwhelming, while also pointing out Jake Paul’s mismatch in style compared to Joshua.

Joshua fulfilled his words to Paul prior to the fight, saying that he would show no mercy and that he would “break the internet over Jake Paul’s face,” as reported by Yahoo Sports.

Anthony Joshua admitted after the match that the fight did take longer than he had anticipated, giving credit to Paul who accepted the remark.

The eight three-minute rounds were cut short at 1:31 of round six after Joshua delivered a devastating right hand that knocked out Paul.

The match up took place at the Kaseya Centre in Miami and was livestreamed exclusively on Netflix.

Official releases from Netflix stated that Paul sustained a broken jaw and underwent surgery that required titanium plating.
