The Milne Bay Community Association Inc. in Port Moresby is seeking the assistance of the general public and the Port Moresby Milne Bay Community for their generous donations to help support displaced victims of the current law and order situation in Alotau.
The Milne Bay Community Association Inc. will have a set up at the Vision City Mega Mall this Saturday 15th May 2021 to receive any donations from unused clothes, blankets and other basic necessities to the cause.
We appeal to the general public to donate what they can to assist the displaced,” a statement said.
There will be live acoustic entertainment from the Extracts of Alotau, Louisiade Peoples Foundation, wONEm Direction, and other interested performers.
“We welcome the opportunity for interested individuals or groups to perform an item or 2 as you give your donations.”
Due to strict COVID-19 protocols, we will not be encouraging crowds, and we ask that everyone is wearing masks and carry their own hand sanitiser.
