Governor Saonu this year had allocated K5000 to all Ward Members of Morobe Province in the 33 Local Level Governments.
The Governor said K700,000 has been allocated to all 33 LLG Presidents of Morobe Province and so these Leaders can have financial strength to deliver respective projects in their LLGs and Wards.
“I am giving funding directly down to the Ward Level because they are the Leaders that directly deal with the people daily and understand the needs of the people better. The allocations will assist and give them strength to develop small projects or programs that will empower the people.”
