BSP Capital donated essential Education Resources to Koki Primary School in NCD, upholds it commitment to improving communities, as a subsidiary of BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP).
BSP Capital’s donation included computers, a printer, a month’s worth of internet data, and two water tanks, benefiting over 1,300 students as part of BSP’s Community Project initiatives addressing two key focus areas: healthy hygiene and digital awareness.
BSP Capital’s Senior Portfolio Manager, Abigail Pepson, emphasized the donation’s impact, addressing the need for clean water and digital learning tools.
She noted that the new water tanks would ensure sufficient clean water for students and teachers amid rising enrolment.
She further explained the importance of digital resources in modern education.
“Computers will enhance students’ digital literacy and support online research.”
“Additionally, they will assist teachers in preparing learning materials, which is currently done by hand.”
These contributions address two key focus areas: Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) and Digital Inclusiveness.
Darren Terupo, BSP Capital’s Portfolio Manager and Community Project Manager, reiterated BSP’s commitment to education.
“We recognise that many schools nationwide lack basic services, and teachers often go the extra mile to provide quality education despite these challenges.”
“This donation is our way of supporting both students and teachers in their journey toward a better future.”
While receiving donations, Koki Primary School Head Teacher, Ms. Emleen Sioni, thanked BSP for the donation, calling it a timely blessing.
