This afternoon five new Ministers were sworn into the Government Cabinet at Government House in Port Moresby.
The ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister James Marape, and members of Cabinet with Deputy Prime Minister John Rosso.
PM Marape further expressed his joy and confidence in the new Minsters, stating that they are overqualified for their duties and bring exceptional experience to the table.
The new Ministers are:
Wapenamanda MP Miki Kaeok – Finance Minister,
Unggai Bena MP Kinoka Feo – Higher Education Minister,
Vanimo Green MP Belden Namah – Culture and Tourism Minister,
Tewaii Siassi MP Dr Kobby Bomareo – NHC Minister and
Kerema Open MP Thomas Opa – Caretaker Energy and Petroleum Minister.
