On the third anniversary of the late Sir Michael Somare’s demise, East Sepik Province honored his enduring legacy in a moving ceremony conducted at the hallowed Sir Michael Somare Stadium.
At the meeting, which was put on with the help of many businesses, including Kroton, locals reflected on Sir Michael’s significant influence as a leader in the province and throughout Papua New Guinea.
The ceremony’s main focus is honoring Sir Michael’s life and his noteworthy contributions to his family, the province, and the country.
A band of musicians performed as the crowd, which included both natives and young people, gathered to celebrate the founding father in an environment of respect and devotion.
Even though there were anticipated to be some minor disruptions, security protocols were strictly adhered to in order to guarantee the event’s safety and peace.
