City Pharmacy Limited (CPL Group) in conjunction with WR Carpenters (PNG) Group have launched a joint Corporate Social Responsibility campaign to encourage the public to get vaccinated (vax) from COVID-19.
CPL Group customers who have received COVID-19 vaccinations are now eligible to participate in the Win-A-Nissan-Patrol Competition at select CPL Group stores.
“Although the vaccination is optional, CPL Group encourages all Papua New Guineans to receive the COVID-19 vaccinations, as like immunisation shots against polio, whooping cough, and measles amongst other diseases, they are for protection and immunity.
As for customers who are vaccinated, they can present their vaccine cards and receipt of up to K10 worth of shopping in one entry at any City Pharmacy, Stop & Shop, Bon Café or Hardware Haus store,” said Mr Navin Raju, CPL Group CEO.
The competition is part of the retail group’s vision into promoting a healthier and better PNG.
WRC PNG supports this same vision and holds in high regard the importance of a healthier country and population.
And in partnership, WR Carpenter through its automotive and transport brand Boroko Motors, has donated a Nissan Patrol manual transmission and a 95L fuel capacity diesel engine fully kitted with Ironman 4×4 accessories.
At Boroko Motors, the Nissan Patrol, kitted with full Ironman accessories is valued at K180, 000.00 drive-away, however customers can own one with just K10 worth of shopping.
“It is important to protect yourself and your family by getting vaccinated because a strong and healthy population equals a healthier workforce and country and we are happy to be supporting a purposeful cause”, said Mr Michael Townsley, WRC Group GM Sales & Marketing.
This campaign will run till the 15th of December 2021.
