The 25-year-old Queenslander with 11 NRL appearances has committed to a two-year contract extension after a series of strong performances already this year.
With his organisational skills, physical defence, upbeat attitude and boundless energy, the Albany Creek playmaker has made his mark for the Broncos in eight top grade games this season.
He impressed in the Broncos’ record comeback win against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 8, as well as the huge upset defeat of the Roosters at the SCG in Round 11, and another boilover against the Sharks on the weekend at Suncorp Stadium.
In choosing to remain a Bronco, Gamble joins Kotoni Staggs, Kobe Hetherington, Jordan Riki, David Mead and exciting youngsters Brendan Piakura, TC Robati and Selwyn Cobbo who have all committed to the Club in recent months, as well as new signings for 2022 Adam Reynolds, Kurt Capewell and Brenko Lee.
That core of long-term loyal Broncos also includes Payne Haas, Pat Carrigan, Herbie Farnworth, Tom Flegler and Ethan Bullemor.
Gamble said: “It’s unreal to re-sign with the Broncos – I love the way the club is going, the direction that Kev is taking us and I’m looking forward to the future.
“It’s good to keep the young blokes around, it’s a good crew that we’ve got here at the moment and the longer we keep all of us together, the better we can go.
“We’ve had a bit of a refresh mid-season and after that win against the Sharks, there’s no reason we can’t get a few more to finish off the season, and we can then build into 2022.”
